Cat welfare- this is going to help you interpret what's happening. Easy to use, and fairly well set out. Local vet reccommended checking out this app, & it's been very useful. In addition to the assessment section, there's a basic learning guide. There is writing, of course, but because the scale is guided by comparing pictures, some may find it easier to use. Pictures are still images, and the writing sans-serif. Thank you -Univesité De Montréal- Merci!

Easy to use - & reassuring. It can help by guiding you to more accurate asessments, & that of course, means to the well-being of the animal. This will help improve your ability to read cats' body language, & give you more confidence in your assesments. It's a useful app that I hope, (really hope!) you will not need to use that often!

Love that the info this app provides is easily available to the public. I would eventually love to see an update about how to recognize chronic pain in cats. I would also like to have more detailed information in the results when in the section "testing your knowledge" (ex: seeing how each criteria scored instead of just the general score).

We really appreciate your feedback. The FGS is valid for acute pain assessment and should not be used for chronic pain conditions. We will consider improving our "Practice your Skills" as per your suggestion in future updates!
