There is a really annoying bug in the latest version: sometimes (but not always), about 30 seconds into my trip, Android Auto decides all by itself to switch the audio over to Spotify from my phone! Now I need to change inputs while I'm driving, which is a safety concern. Don't just change inputs on me! Duh. And if I do decide to change over to Spotify, it often is already playing, even though I had it on pause in a song I was listening to. Go back to the last version that didn't have bugs

Solid driving app. Works well. With the Android Auto option in my truck, I can connect my phone and close it inside console without needing to access it. Everything I need is accessible on touchscreen. Would give it 5 stars if it announced incoming texts and offered to read them to you. Having to keep an eye out for messages on screen and touch to play can be distracting. Additionally, a "pause" feature for Maps would be a great addition. Repetative recalculation for rest stops is annoying.

Is Google maps GPS run through Android auto sound is very low, can't hear it. And is not adjustable. Or is it? 1 star or less for terrible sound. There are lots of updates but never sound improvement. Even though it asks me "how the sound was"? Gives a thumbs up or down. But the vote must get lost in the clouds because there is never a difference in sound. Maybe one day the clouds will get overstuffed with requests that it will rain.
