The Sentinels of Light event is coming to a close, and before our heroes face off against the final boss for the last time, we've got a HUGE in-game update coming your way. The last three players on both teams simultaneously ban one champion each. We hope starting with three bans will offer more meaningful, competitive, and healthy drafting experiences for players without negatively impacting champion diversity in the game. Our long-term goal is to increase the ban slots to five per team. We believe the interruption to Wild Rift\u2019s ranking experience caused by Promotion Matches currently outweighs the benefits they were meant to provide. Instead of transitioning to a Promotion Match after winning the last match of their current rank, players will immediately move up into the next rank. We will continue to monitor Ranked after their removal to confirm.<\/p>\n<p><em>Promotion Matches will be removed on July 27 00:01 UTC.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>WILD PASS S2<\/h4>\n<p>The Wild Pass returns for its second outing! We\u2019ve made a few upgrades from the previous version:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall, we\u2019re increasing the amount of Blue Motes, Poro Coins and Poro Energy you get from purchasing the pass. For example, this time around, you can earn enough Blue Motes for a full champion.<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019re increasing the amount of free rewards you\u2019ll get while leveling up.<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019re enabling you to gift the pass to other players on your friends list.<\/li>\n<li>And despite these buffs, the price isn\u2019t changing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From now on, the Wild Pass will be a permanent feature in the game, with no more downtime between each new pass. Additionally, his (2) Rending Wave feels underwhelming, so we want to improve it. Furthermore, there are some interactions skilled Fizz players are able to capitalize on in PC, but these weren\u2019t implemented properly in Wild Rift, so we\u2019re rectifying this too. Due to the large amount of changes coming for the Tidal Trickster, we\u2019ll be extra vigilant in following up on how his performance is affected.<\/p>\n<p><em>(2) Rending Wave<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>[NEW] Now applies its initial bonus magic damage from the first attack in a 175 radius splash area around the target hit and applies Seastone Trident (P) to targets hit by this splash<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>(3) Playful \/ Trickster<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>[NEW] Protobelt now buffers during Playful instead of cancelling it<\/li>\n<li>[NEW] Protobelt no longer cancels Trickster\u2019s fall down splash if Fizz did not re-cast Trickster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.contentstack.io\/v3\/assets\/blt370612131b6e0756\/blt6bcb37f8127a7896\/60f9c64fe0115e5a01a05611\/07272021_WRPatchNotes24_Graves.jpg\" alt=\"07272021_WRPatchNotes24_Graves.jpg\" data-image=\"c80jhoymauie\" data-sys-asset-uid=\"blt6bcb37f8127a7896\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"graves\" class=\"anchor-link\"><\/span>GRAVES<\/h3>\n<p>Graves isn\u2019t under-performing in terms of win rate, but a lot of his power lies in his early base stats which we believe makes him less satisfying to play. We\u2019re shifting around some of his power to give him more\u00a0<em>oomph<\/em>\u00a0on the more explosive parts of his kit so that good play around his abilities is better rewarded.
