Big news for\u00a0Clash Royale<\/strong>\u00a0fans as\u00a0Supercell Games<\/strong>\u00a0has confirmed a big\u00a0Summer Update<\/strong>\u00a02022<\/strong>\u00a0for the year\u00a02022<\/strong>, which is dropping for the game. The update brings a host of new features, which were discussed in the latest TV royale.<\/p>\n

Clash Royale Summer 2022 Update: Battle banners, Banner box and more<\/h2>\n

One of the biggest new features of the upcoming update is the addition of\u00a0battle banners<\/strong>. Battle banners allow users to add and decorate information about themselves. It will be shown before the start of every battle alongside the username, with the exception of duels and boat battles. Each battle banner has three parts, which include\u00a0decoration, frame and badges<\/strong>. Badges are used to showcase the proudest in-game achievements.<\/p>\n

There will also be a new\u00a0\u201cbanner box\u201d<\/strong>, which will contain different frames and decorations. The banner box will be refreshed with every season. To open a banner box, a player must possess\u00a0at least 100 banner tokens.<\/strong>\u00a0These tokens can be obtained from the third set of mastery tasks or by completing special challenges.\u00a0 Moreover, every player will receive\u00a0100 free banner tokens<\/strong>, when the update goes live in the game.<\/p>\n

Supercell has also confirmed that they are revamping the player profile section, with the biggest change in the revamp. It is giving players the ability to select up to\u00a08 badges<\/strong>\u00a0to display on their profile. It has also been confirmed that ten cards will be getting their third set of mastery tasks.<\/p>\n

Duels now available outside of Clan Wars<\/h2>\n

Another one of the biggest features in the upcoming update is the ability for players to\u00a0duel 1v1 or 2v2 outside of clan wars<\/strong>. Players now have the ability to duel with anyone around the world. There are two types of duels, the\u00a0regular open duel<\/strong>\u00a0and the second one is called \u201cBan Pick Duel<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n
