Genshin Impact\u00a0version 2.7<\/strong>\u00a0is about to come to an end and\u00a0<\/strong>Version 2.8<\/strong>\u00a0Update<\/strong>\u00a0is just around the corner. Considering the Genshin Impact timeline, the version 2.8 update will go live on\u00a0July 13<\/strong>\u00a0and the Livestream is scheduled for\u00a0July 2, 2022, at 8 AM (UTC-4)<\/strong>. The version 2.8 update is called\u00a0Summer Fantasia<\/strong>\u00a0and players can view the Livestream on Genshin Impact\u2019s official\u00a0Twitch channel\u00a0and the official\u00a0YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

Players expect that in version 2.8, players would be able to explore the\u00a0Golden Apple Archipelago<\/strong> once more. Now, with the update named Summer Fantasia, and the GAA islands having great summer vibes, it\u2019s almost confirmed that GAA would be opened again for exploration for players.<\/p>\n

Also, the GAA islands are based around Klee, so, it is expected that there might be a\u00a0Klee\u00a0re-run banner<\/strong>. And also, among the Inazuma 5* characters, the\u00a0Yoimiya\u00a0rerun<\/strong>\u00a0is pending.<\/p>\n

The possible rerun banners might be of Kazuha, Klee, and Yoimiya. Also, there might an event whereby completing the tasks players would be able to earn some in-game currency with which they would be able to redeem a\u00a0Fischl<\/strong>. Most probably players would require 2000 of the event currency to redeem Fischl.<\/p>\n

Genshin Impact has also tweeted about\u00a0Heizou<\/strong>. Heizou is the expected new 4* character of the game. Also the first male catalyst user and he is an anime character. Some leaks also suggest that day and night mechanisms would also be introduced in the GAA islands.<\/p>\n

Players can expect rewards, free characters, and many events in version 2.8<\/h2>\n

The last time when the GAA islands were released and open for exploration for the first time, players got some great rewards, lots of chests, quests, and events. All of them rewarded players with a ton of primogems, mora, and other important materials for the game.<\/p>\n
