A game\u2019s release date not announced by the publishers is always in doubt for the fans waiting. Fans, however, can get some clues regarding the same whenever an upcoming game is listed on an app store. The same thing happened with\u00a0Honkai: Star Rail<\/strong>\u00a0when the\u00a0iOS App Store listing<\/strong>\u00a0recently revealed that the global release date for the game would be on the 26th of April, 2023.<\/p>\n

The iOS app listing revealed the expected release date of Honkai: Star Rail<\/h2>\n

Being the latest installment of the popular\u00a0Honkai\u00a0<\/strong>series from\u00a0HoYoverse<\/strong>, Honkai: Star Rail\u2019s\u00a0development was in talks since 2021<\/strong>. Since then, the game has entered the beta test programs thrice with the first being in\u00a0October 2021<\/strong>. The next came on\u00a0May 2022<\/strong>, with the latest and final round of Closed Beta registrations opening on\u00a0January 24th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

However, the makers chose to remain silent on the release date till now, with no news whatsoever. This changed unofficially when the\u00a0iOS App Store<\/strong>\u00a0listing on February 9th revealed a date of\u00a0April 26, 2023<\/strong>. This has made the fans excited, and are looking forward to the next two months passing by at the earliest.<\/p>\n

Although the release date can be considered viable, we believe this might change anytime. Since the game is still conducting beta tests and looking for potential bugs or additions, we can see this being delayed too. If the progress is faster and things go smoothly as expected, we can also see it being released at an earlier date.<\/p>\n

Another good news for the fans is that Honkai: Star Rail is now open for pre-registration globally. Interested players can get their hands on the game from the official app stores, with Android users able to access it via the\u00a0Google Play Store\u00a0and iOS users from the\u00a0App Store.<\/p>\n

As for now, the progress and reactions to the game are positive. Recently it was among the\u00a0first batch of games approved in China<\/strong>, which is a plus for the game\u2019s market. It has been over a year and a half since the first talks on the game, so the expectations are higher.<\/p>\n
