SEGA<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0ATLUS<\/strong>\u00a0have announced that their turn-based\u00a0ARPG<\/strong>,\u00a0Persona5: The Phantom X<\/strong>, is set to launch on mobile and PC on June 26, 2025. First\u00a0announced in 2023<\/strong>, it held its\u00a0third CBT<\/strong>\u00a0in China, followed by an\u00a0OBT in April 2024<\/strong>\u00a0there, before aiming for\u00a0Japanese\u00a0and\u00a0Global<\/strong>\u00a0launches.<\/p>\n

Get ready to witness a new storyline with a new protagonist in Persona5: The Phantom X<\/h2>\n

Persona5: The Phantom X is a turn-based\u00a0action<\/strong>\u00a0RPG set in the iconic world of\u00a0<\/em>Persona 5, and the latest addition in the beloved Persona series. Set in a mysterious Tokyo where desire is lost, you play as a student leading a double life as Phantom Thief, working to change the twisted desires of corrupt adults.<\/p>\n

What excites me is that this isn\u2019t just a remake, but a new story with a new protagonist and a whole cast of Phantom Thieves. That being said, you can look forward to fan-favourites like Joker making a special appearance through special contracts, which is great.<\/p>\n

Now, coming to the game, there\u2019s a lot to explore. By day, you\u2019ll live your student life, doing part-time jobs, engaging in club activities, and gaining life experience. But things change at night, as you explore cognitive dungeons, steal treasures, and take on various challenges to make your goal come true.<\/p>\n

That said, there\u2019s also a new PvE mode, called\u00a0The Velvet Trials<\/strong>, along with features like the Guild that lets you interact with other players. I\u2019m also eager for the\u00a0Synergy System<\/strong>, where, by building various close relationships with characters, you can unlock exclusive side stories from ATLUS themselves..<\/p>\n

All in all, the game looks very promising, bringing a new storyline, new characters and Personas, part-time jobs, mini-games, new palace and Mementoes, PvE mode, and more. Oh, not to forget, it\u2019ll also include NPC events and other side stories.<\/p>\n
