In this Silver and Blood review, I will share my impressions of this game and provide an honest opinion.<\/p>\n

Starting with the review, let\u2019s dive into the gameplay experience of Silver and Blood. If you\u2019ve played\u00a0MOONTON Games\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>hit titles like\u00a0Mobile Legends: Bang Bang<\/strong>, this one might surprise you as it takes a completely different direction with its gameplay and style.<\/p>\n

The core gameplay is built around a nine-grid turn-based combat system. Your battles are carried out automatically once you make your team formation, but you can step in by using the\u00a0Skill Cards<\/strong>. You\u2019ve to drag each card to different placements or shapes.<\/p>\n

Plus, you can also go on raids, do expeditions, and a lot more besides clearing the main story in\u00a0Threads of Fate<\/strong>. And if you don\u2019t like the auto elements, the game\u2019s visuals, storyline, and well-designed character grab your attention anyway.<\/p>\n

When it comes to content, Silver and Blood is packed with a lot of things to do. Besides the Thread of Fate, which covers the main story, you can explore the\u00a0Lost Courtyard<\/strong>\u00a0for extra challenges. Here, you can try modes like\u00a0Truth\u2019s Odyssey, Infinite Abyss<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n

As you progress, you\u2019ll eventually unlock more content, like the\u00a0Castle<\/strong>. This section includes the\u00a0Observatory<\/strong>,\u00a0Hall of Honor<\/strong>, and more. One of my favorites is the\u00a0Council Chamber<\/strong>, where you can summon up to 5 Vassals daily and hold discussions on random topics.<\/p>\n

Expedition is another fun feature where you can send your Vassals on wilderness missions to earn rewards. I also enjoy the banquet, where treating Vassals increases their Affinity. And the Journal is great too, offering backstories, daily interactions, and even Vassals\u2019 birthdays.<\/p>\n

Anime-style visuals and a stunning sound design steal the show<\/h2>\n

Coming to the game\u2019s visuals and audio design, I\u2019m beyond impressed by both. The game\u2019s stunning visuals and anime-like cinematic cutscenes make you feel like you are watching a top-rated anime rather than playing a game, which is a unique experience in my book.<\/p>\n

And the audio design perfectly complements the overall gothic-like aesthetic and game. Plus, the official theme song,\u00a0Broken, by popular Japanese singer\u00a0Milet<\/strong>, is like a cherry on top. I feel like this is one of the very few titles that puts equal effort into both visuals and sound.<\/p>\n

Simple controls meet a clean and gothic-inspired user interface<\/h2>\n

Regarding the controls and user interface, Silver and Blood offer a solid, detailed UI that\u2019s easy to navigate, despite the game\u2019s extensive content. Although the game follows a dark gothic theme, you won\u2019t have much issue navigating from\u00a0Vassals\u00a0<\/strong>to the Story mode, or anything else.<\/p>\n

And as for controls, they\u2019re quite simple, with most mechanics following a semi-auto format. You mainly drag\u00a0Skill Cards<\/strong>\u00a0to designated places to use them properly, which is pretty smooth. Even on a budget device, I found it stable and responsive without any issues.<\/p>\n

IAPs tempt you with SSR Vassals, but you can still have a fun ride without them<\/h2>\n

Silver and Blood offers a range of in-app purchases, including the\u00a0Vampire Embrace<\/strong>, which provides a lot of\u00a0Moon Tears, Soothing Embraces<\/strong>, and\u00a0Rare Shards<\/strong>. You\u2019ll also find monthly pacts like the\u00a0New Moon<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Full Moon Pacts<\/strong>, and a lot more.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re planning to unlock SSR Vassals, you might get tempted by the\u00a0Special Embrace Packs<\/strong>, or\u00a0Daily, Weekly,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Monthly picks<\/strong>. That said, you don\u2019t necessarily have to spend to enjoy the game fully. You can very much follow a free-to-play approach and still have a good experience.<\/p>\n

That said, with this approach, you\u2019ll need to give a lot more time to the game, but you\u2019ll save a lot this way. Most in-game resources, including\u00a0Moon Tears<\/strong>, which is the game\u2019s premium currency, can be earned just by playing and completing various tasks.<\/p>\n
