Clash Royale<\/strong>\u00a0is rolling out its\u00a0October 2025 update<\/strong>, and this one has a lot in store. We have two new Evolutions for\u00a0Season 76<\/strong>, a Champion system rework, and Lucky Chests are a new introduction. On top of that, there are changes to rewards too, so here\u2019s everything you need to know.<\/p>\n

New Rewarding system: Lucky Chests<\/h3>\n

In what is the big feature in this update,\u00a0Lucky Drops<\/strong>\u00a0are gone and have been replaced with\u00a0Lucky Chests<\/strong>, which give you better rewards and a more reliable system. This is kind of a comeback for the Chests, which were taken out in the\u00a0March update<\/strong>, but in a different way, of course.<\/p>\n

There are three types:\u00a0Common Lucky Chests\u00a0<\/strong>with cards and gold (3 spins),\u00a0Magic Lucky Chests<\/strong>\u00a0with cards, gold, items, and cosmetics (4 spins), and\u00a0Seasonal Lucky Chests\u00a0<\/strong>that change every season that comes with two types based on the theme.<\/p>\n

For October, you\u2019ll see the\u00a0Haunted Lucky Chest<\/strong>\u00a0with Skeleton Army and Royal Ghost Evolution shards plus cosmetics, and the\u00a0Phantom Lucky Chest<\/strong>\u00a0with Royal Ghost Evolution shards and themed rewards. Seasonal chests now also guarantee rewards the more you open them, so your progress feels rewarding.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Champion Cycle Rework<\/h3>\n

Champions are now easier to play with. Instead of waiting on the old 3-card cycle, they cycle like any other card. Only the most recent Champion you place has an active ability, shown with a crown icon above them.<\/p>\n

Each time you play a Champion, ability cooldowns reset, and the Skeleton King\u2019s soul bar also refreshes if you drop him again. The Mirror card now works with Champions too, however, you can still only have one Champion in a deck.<\/p>\n

The October season is giving you not one but two Evolutions. The first is the\u00a0Royal Ghost Evolution<\/strong>, where he spawns with two\u00a0\u201cSouldiers\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0that deal damage as soon as they appear and protect him while he materializes. You can unlock this from the Shop starting October 17 at 9 AM UTC.<\/p>\n

The second is the\u00a0Skeleton Army Evolution<\/strong>, where General Gerry leads the Skellies, making them invisible and indestructible as long as he\u2019s alive. But once he falls, they all go down with him. More details will be shared in the Season update news.<\/p>\n

Daily Rewards and Game Mode Switcher<\/h3>\n

Daily rewards are now the same for everyone. After\u00a0testing new Battle Rewards<\/strong>, we will now get\u00a04 Magic Lucky Chests each day<\/strong>, which is a nice boost.<\/p>\n

In addition, in the game mode switcher, you\u2019ll now see a\u00a0New Event!<\/strong>\u00a0label whenever fresh content is live, and Training Camp plus tournaments can be accessed right from the same menu.<\/p>\n
