Brawl Stars October 2025 Brawl Talk: Stranger Things Collab, New Brawler, Game modes, Hypercharges, and more

Brawl Stars has now aired a new Brawl Talk this October, after teasing the highly anticipated Stranger Things collab. After the September Brawl Talk that brought us the Subway Surfers collab, this October Brawl Talk brings a new Brawler, exclusive skins, game modes, and more. Let’s dive into detail and explore all the new stuff!

Brawl Stars October 2025 Brawl Talk: New Brawler

Gigi

Gigi, a Mythic Assassin, is the newest Brawler introduced in this Brawl Talk. She is actually part of Juju’s trio, who is an abandoned ballerina doll that showed up at the Oddities Shop. With her unique trait, you can charge her Super by dodging enemy projectiles.

Her main attack, Pirouette Power-up, lets you spin and deal damage to all enemies around you, which provides extra movement speed while you keep spinning. While her Super teleports you to a target area, allowing you to surprise-attack enemies.

You can reuse this Super to teleport yourself back to the starting spot, dealing damage as you leave. She is a high-mobility Brawler, so make use of it. And you can unlock her via the Brawler Release Event, where you can open Gigi Boxes by winning games. Plus, these boxes also include her 199 Gem skin.

Stranger Things Collab

As you know, Brawl-O-ween is currently live, and the Brawl Stars team just announced a collaboration with Stranger Things. It is bringing a variety of themed skins like Dustin Nita, with Demogorgon as her Pet. This is a hypercharged skin, with two Chromas, 80s Dustin Nita and Future Dustin Nita.

And that’s not just it, as it also includes Hopper Bull, Eddie Draco, Will Gus, and lastly, Scoops Ahoy Berry. Apart from the skins, in the Stranger Things event, you can earn Eleven’s favorite food, Waffles, through the new game modes, Quests, Daily Wins, Freebie chains, and more.

You can then trade in the Event Shop for Card Packs to unlock a variety of unique ability cards for specific Brawlers like Bo.

Stranger Things Brawl Pass

Eleven Lumi is the upcoming skin for the Stranger Things Brawl Pass, and she is arriving with her two Chromas, Retro Lumi and Thrilled Lumi.

Mecha Brawl Pass

The game is introducing its first female Mecha skins with Mecha Mandy in the upcoming Brawl Pass. This also includes her two Chromas, Wasp Mecha Mandy and Shade Mecha Mandy.

New Game Modes

Upside Showdown

Upside Showdown is the new roguelite game mode where each match acts as a run through five stages with your chosen Brawler. Here, at the start of every stage, you can select a new Power, ranging from defensive and buffs to all-out offense. So, make sure to mix and match them to create your unique build.

On top of that, each stage pits you against nine other players in an intense free-for-all showdown. If you finish among the top 4, you’ll move on to the next stage, while not being there ends your run, and you’ve to start once more with new choices. Try to be the first to win all stages to earn the highest rewards.

Boss Fight

In Boss Fight, you can team up with other players to defeat the iconic villains of Stranger Things, Vecna and Demogorgon, and even Spirit Frank. By beating them, you can earn both rewards and Waffles, which I already mentioned above.

Hyperchages, Mega Quests, and New Skins

Mega Quests

So, the game is introducing the Mega Quests, a new type of quest chain that unlocks new quests as you complete previous ones. Additionally, they offer two rewards, one being a variable prize and the other a good amount of Brawl Pass XP.

Moreover, it has two types: Mega Quests and Omega Quests, with the latter offering even better rewards. Starting with this update, every Brawl Pass will include a Mega Quest chain that lasts for that specific season. It will feature 7 Mega Quests in total, with the final one being Brawl Pass exclusive.

New Skins

You can look forward to more Mecha skins, such as Mecha Piper, that will arrive with her Hypercharged skin, Lotus Mecha Viper. It also includes two Chromas, Petal Mecha Viper and Rose Mecha Viper. Then there’s Mecha Jesse with two Chromas, Bubblegum Mecha Jesse and Shining Mecha Jesse.

Brawl Stars Gym Rats Skins

The team is also introducing the Gym Rat skins, which include Pump It Melodie, Workout Charlie, and Gym Rat Mr. P. For the Pro Pass, Tiger Leon will be its new skin, which evolves into its Hypercharged skin, Shadow Tiger Leon, alongside two Chromas, White Tiger Leon and Stalking Tiger Leon. And for Supercell ID Rewards, you’ll obtain Archer Queen Penny skin.

Hypercharges

So, the team is making changes to Hypercharges, which currently provide a massive boost when active, but they differ across Brawlers. So, they’ve now changed it to give all Brawlers the same stat bonuses, like a 5% Attack and Defense bonus, and a 20% movement speed boost.

While this might upset some players, the devs believe these Hypercharges provide very high value to the point where it can be irritating to face certain Hypers. I also agree to this, as this will allow for better counterplay when they’re activated. Now, here are the new Hypercharges they are bringing:

  • Pam’s Mama’s Love: With this, her turret heals on deploy and continues to heal your allies over their max health by providing them a decaying shield.
  • Alli’s Swamp Snacking: By using this, you can heal for 20% of damage dealt during her Hypercharge, and you can deal max percent health damage with her main attack, instead of the current percent health damage.
  • Mina’s Triplecane: You can now fire three hurricanes in a cone shape with her Super, which also bounces.
  • Ziggy’s The Grand Vortex: When you activate this, the Hypercharged Super returns to you upon reaching its max range or lifetime.

Other Changes and Map Maker Rework detail

Besides all the above exciting content, the team has made some other changes to offer a better experience. They’ve changed the Daily Rewards to six wins for six rewards, which used to be eight wins for just three rewards. That said, it may not be permanent, and they’ll see how it goes.

These Daily Win rewards will be random each day from a pool of these possible rewards: Starr Drops, Hypercharged Starr Drops, Angelic Starr Drops, Demonic Starr DropsSushi Rolls, Presents (during certain seasons), Mega Boxes, Boom Boxes, and Mech Boxes.

Moreover, the Team Up list now shows players you’ve recently won a match with. XP Doublers, which earlier, only used to double Battle XP, will now also double Quest XP. You can also look forward to new Trio modes with four teams, Trio Wipeout, and Trio Gem Grab.
