THE EXTENSION PHASE
Win a round as attackers in WEX and it doesn't just end, it extends. The defending team respawns, only your survivors stay in, and you find yourself holding the site outnumbered: 3v5, 2v5, even 1v5. That's the Extension Phase, and it turns the rare, once-in-a-blue-moon clutch into something that happens every time you play. These are the rounds you'll clip and send to your friends.
ABILITIES THAT SHAPE THE FIGHT
Sharp aim wins the duel, but smart ability use wins the round. Alongside your guns, your abilities let you control space, cut off enemy sightlines, and pressure defenders out of their hold. Use them to stall a push, clear a dangerous angle, or break open a site before you take the gunfight on your terms. The right ability at the right moment is often what turns an impossible round into one worth clipping.
REALISTIC, SKILL-BASED GUN COMBAT
Gunfights in WEX are precise and unforgiving. Every gun has its own recoil and spread patterns, and mastering the shooting is what makes the difference in a duel. Your loadout expands as the match progresses, unlocking access to more powerful guns.
