The purpose is to provide a calculation of the severity of PARDS in a fast and effective way. Using basic mathematical formulas: (OI) ([Fio2 × mean airway pressure (Paw) × 100]/Pao2) and oxygen saturation index (OSI) ([Fio2 × Paw × 100]/Spo2). Its use does not replace the professional criteria who takes responsibility for the use of it.. It is directed to health professionals. It has been designed using the APP inventor tool. Before its publication has been subjected to a fault detection test.
