While Kuro Games has not officially confirmed any details, these leaks offer plenty of room for discussion and speculation. As always, keep in mind that leaked information is subject to change and should be taken with a grain of salt.

WuWa 3.1 Banners Could Feature Luuk Herssen and Aemeath

According to the latest leaks from leaker Seele, Wuthering Waves Version 3.1 may introduce new characters when it launches in early February 2026, following the game’s usual six-week update cycle, with leaks suggesting two new 5-star banner characters closely connected to Startorch Academy.

From the leaks, the initial speculation is that Aemeath will be the headliner for Version 3.1. She is rumored to be a Fusion-element sword user with a Main DPS role, with most of her damage coming from her Resonance Liberation and Fusion Burst effects.

What We Know About Luuk Herssen and Aemeath in Wuthering Waves

Luuk Herssen has been on our radar since the Lahai-Roi character teases, and leaks now suggest he will finally become playable in Version 3.1. Here’s what Seele shared in the recent leak:

  • Luuk Herssen Rarity: 5-star
  • Element: Spectro
  • Weapon: Gauntlets
  • Combat Roles: Main Damage Dealer, Basic Attack Damage, Tune Rupture Response, Tune Strain Response

On the other hand, Aemeath has been the main mystery of the new version and region so far. She first appeared in the Version 3.0 cinematic short “Transfer Student,” where there were subtle clues that she exists outside normal space (such as her lack of a shadow and glitch/computer-like appearance). Here’s what the leak included:

  • Aemeath
  • Rarity: 5-star
  • Element: Fusion
  • Weapon: Sword
  • Combat Roles (Partly): Main Damage Dealer, Resonance Liberation Damage, Fusion Burst, Tune Rupture Response, Tune Strain Response

This has led to the speculation that she might be the Sentinel of this region, which isn’t possible because we know that Lahai-Roi has no Sentinel. So maybe she’s an Artificial Sentinel or experimental being connected to the Spacetrek Collective’s research in Lahai-Roi.

Until Kuro Games officially reveals Version 3.1 with the official livestream, all these details are subject to change.
