Role Playing

Maximize the Hologram Device

Hologram Device

To maximize the value of your Hologram Device and Hologram Tickets, manage them carefully instead of using Auto Activate early on. Save your tickets while your Hologram Device is low level—using them too soon will only yield lower-quality equipment.

Sell just enough gear to gain the strength needed for clearing stages, then focus your Bits on upgrading your Hologram Device. Higher-level devices yield better equipment, dramatically increasing the value of your Hologram Tickets. Save Auto-Activate for moments when you're stuck on a stage and need a quick boost in equipment or Partner/Tamer levels.

Because you can earn hundreds of Tickets daily, burning through them before leveling up your device will slow down your overall progression. Upgrade your Hologram Device first to maximize your rewards from large ticket dumps.

Choose the SP Battle Type

The SP Battle Type currently dominates the meta as the top choice for stage progression, Dungeons, and PvP. Its HP Recovery tree offers continuous healing, drastically boosting your survivability against standard waves, bosses, and rival players.

When Battle Types unlock at Partner Level 20 (Rookie Digivolution), choosing SP sets you up for mid-game success, as you'll unlock its essential HP Recovery tree at Level 40.

Focus on AoE Damage and Buff Skill Cards

Prioritize AoE (Area of Effect) Skill Cards over single-target nukes, as clearing entire waves quickly is essential for efficient progression.

However, don't just focus on raw damage—utility matters just as much. Cards like Overflow Virus!! excel by shredding enemy Defense, while cards offering Attack Speed buffs or general enemy debuffs stand out as top-tier choices to maximize your overall DPS.

The best overall build pairs the SP Battle Type with the HP Recovery tree, offering an ideal mix of offensive power and continuous healing. Agumon stands out as the best Buddy, while WarGreymon serves as the top SP Support—both offering some of the strongest offensive buffs in the game.

For Support Cards, focus on options that deal AoE damage and offer high-value utility. Cards that lower enemy Defense or boost your Attack Speed will yield the greatest increase to your total damage.
