Ukinami Yuzuha Guide and Best Builds for Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ)

Introduction – Ukinami Yuzuha

 Ukinami Yuzuha is a Physical Support Agent in Zenless Zone Zero releasing in version 2.1.

Yuzuha is a member of the  Spook Shack faction and has been featured in several sidequests starting in version 2.0.

Strengths

• Huge buffs providing 25 Energy, 1,200 ATK, 15% DMG, Anomaly Buildup, Anomaly DMG & Disorder DMG.
• Utilises the attributes of your other Agents allowing Yuzuha to deal anomalies of different elements.
• Low field time.

Weaknesses

• Cannot reach the 200 AM cap for Yuzuha’s Core Passive without her W-Engine.
• Some endgame content when providing anomaly-related buffs can oversaturate Yuzuha’s buffs diluting their effectiveness.

Yuzuha is best built as an anomaly-focused Support providing buffs to other Anomaly Agents.

Yuzuha’s best W-Engine is her signature  Metanukimorphosis and is the only way Yuzuha is able to build to the 200 Anomaly Mastery cap of Yuzuha’s The More the Merrier. This does not mean Yuzuha’s W-Engine is required, but it will lower those buffs.  Kaboom the Cannon is an amazing second F2P build option for Yuzuha because of the fact her Tanuki is constantly attacking and triggering the effects.

Yuzuha’s best Drive Disc to build is generally either  Swing Jazz or  Astral Voice with both being very similar options. It mainly comes down to which effects you can proc the best. While 4-Piece Drive Discs have a bit of room,  Phaethon’s Melody is very important as the 2-Piece option.

With regards to building Yuzuha’s substats, hitting 3,000 ATK is the main goal with it not being to difficult to build to. Aside from that, Anomaly Proficiency and more ATK are most valuable. Yuzuha can be built to be more crit-focused if she was to be used in non-anomaly teams but this is not advised.

Ukinami Yuzuha is a support agent for Primarily Anomaly agents, that being said she is not exclusively tied to them. Because Yuzuha is a support, she has very little in the way of real combos. Sugar Point generation and your Tanuki attacking happen mostly in the background as you play. Your main aim is to switch to Yuzuha using a Dodge Counter, Quick Assist or Assist Follow-Up allowing you to activate Cavity Alert, Right Now!. If needed, you can perfect dodge into Yuzuha’s EX Special too.

That being said, Yuzuha still has a few important considerations:

• Yuzuha’s Ultimate has an incredibly long animation. Avoid using it during a stun window.
• Yuzuha’s EX Specials can be timed to be faster but weaker, being better overall. Press it asap after a Perfect Dodge, Dodge Counter, Quick Assist or Assist Follow-Up.
• Yuzuha’s Defensive Assist can be parried (Hold Basic) into an Assist Follow-Up using another Basic Attack. This upgrades Sugarburst Sparkles into Sugarburst Sparkles – Max. The timing can take a second to get the hang of, you can tell because Yuzuha does the cool umbrella spin.

Basic Attack: Sugarburst Sparkles attribute is based on the first hit by your other active characters. Be considerate of who attacks first when enemies are in the Sweet Scare state. You also generally want this to be Sugarburst Sparkles – Max when possible because it has higher multipliers (55% Normal vs 616% Max).

Yuzuha’s faction-specific Bangboo is . She requires 2  Spook Shack members unless you have 3 copies making it not the most recommended option outside of teams with  Alice Thymefield. Your best bet is going for Bangboo that go with other team members mainly Robin when  Vivian is in the team.

Yuzuha’s best teams primarily remove around both herself and  Vivian, however she is not the only support.  Burnice White and  Tsukishiro Yanagi can both be great options depending on the team/enemy while  Nicole Demara and  Soukaku can be other alternatives.
