Arknights: Endfield Version 1.1 update brings new Operators, region, and more
GRYPHLINE has unveiled the first major content update for its popular 3D industrial RPG, Arknights: Endfield. Version 1.1, titled “Old Deep Water Dies, by Rising Tide It Is Denied,” launches on March 12 and introduces new industrial systems, regions, Operators, gameplay improvements, rewards, and more.

So, you can look forward to new playable operators in Versian 1.1, and they’re as follows:
1. Tangtang

Tangtang, a 6-Star Caster, excels at dealing AOE Cryo damage while also supporting the squad. With her ultimate, DA CHIEF SEES YOU!, you can immobilize all enemies within range of her new tactical layer, including bosses. This creates openings for your squad to deal solid damage.
2. Rossi

Coming with her is Rossi, a 6-Star Guard, who’s the only one capable of converting Arts Infliction into Vulnerability, effectively breaking enemies’ defense. Thanks to this, she acts as a vital force multiplier for Physical-focused squads, letting your team’s primary carries to deal more damage.

Now, on the industrial side, the game is introducing the new Hydro Mining Rig tech, that lets you extract the new industrial resource Cuprium using water flow instead of electricity. This removes the need for a power grid connection like the other facilities.
Additional logistics tools, including Conducts and Water Treatment Units helps with long-distance liquid transport and processing sewage. They’ve even increased the Forges of the Sky placement limit to enhance high level resource production.

Besides this Hydro-industrialization, you’ll also get access to to Qingbo Stockade, a new Wuling area. And as for the storyline, you’ll get to investigate this new area as there’s rising tensions between factions with the arrival of Nefarith and Ardashir.
More free pulls, progression boosts, and limited events
There’s more good news as beyond the existing 135 free pulls available during the launch window, Arknights: Endfield Version 1.1 brings new milestone-based beginners mission, sign-in events, and more. They’re as follows:
- New Beginner Support: So, you’ll get new beginner mission rewards of 10 Chartered Headhunting Permits once you reach specific milestones in Chapter 1.
- Sign-in Events: There’s various sign-in events coming too, like Gently Flows Qingbo and Pearl of the Pack, offering you with limited-time permits.
- Battle Pass Update: The team has updated the Protocol Pass to now include Basic Headhunting Permits.
- Limited-time Activities: Special activities like Exploration Day and Survival Training let’s you enjoy farming and new combat experiences with only Industrial Explosives.
- Systemic Rewards: You’ll also receive expanded AIC Quota rewards for acquiring higher rarity operators.
- Advanced Gear Optimization: With the Valley Multi-Line Engraving Kit available via the Stock Redistribution system, you can create Essences with three customized stats to further optimize endgame weapon builds and reduce RNG friction.
Quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback
Now, what’s a major update without some quality-of-life- improvements, right? Don’t worry as the game is bringing some, especially for controller players.
- Construction Precision: Power lines now have an extended buffer range, and you don’t have to worry anymore about connection snapping during dialogue or combat triggers. As for controller users, you can simply move facilities by long-pressing a dedicated button.
- Exploration HUD: The minimap and game map access have been improved during zipline traversal for better navigation across the new Qingbo Stockade.
- Combat Ready: Combat adjustments ensure your Operators enter Protocol Spaces fully prepared with maximum HP and Ultimate Energy. Moreover, enemy attack indicators have been refined for better visibility during intense combat.
