Genshin Impact Version 6.1 update, titled “Song of the Welkin Moon: Reprise”, arrives on October 22nd, 2025. This version doesn’t just continue the story in Nod-Krai, it opens the door to a whole new dimension of creativity with the long-awaited Miliastra Wonderland, a user-generated content system that lets players craft, explore, and compete in custom worlds.
Enter the Miliastra Wonderland
At long last, the Miliastra Wonderland system is here, and it’s huge! Players can now explore hundreds of unique Stages, from cozy life sims to PvP arenas and party games, all made within Genshin itself. It feels like an entirely new layer of the game, one where imagination becomes the main gameplay mechanic. Whether you want to team up with friends, face off against others, or go solo solving intricate puzzles, the freedom is refreshing.

Even better, every player is represented through Manekins, fully customizable avatars that can be styled with unique hairstyles, facial features, accessories, and outfits. You can even unlock Outfit Components and preset sets through in-game events for that perfect look.

And for those who love building, the Miliastra Sandbox is where it all happens. Acting as the heart of the UGC system, this tool allows players to design their own Stages, editing terrain, objects, and even character abilities. By connecting different elements through logic flows, you can create anything from exploration levels to puzzle dungeons or even battle arenas. HoYoverse is also offering official tutorials, forums, and reward programs to support creators and showcase standout Stages.
The Archon Quest reaches its next crescendo in Nod-Krai
Beyond the creativity boom, Version 6.1 brings a major story continuation in Nod-Krai, with a lineup of returning legends. The looming threat of Rerir, Rächer of Solnari, forces unlikely alliances as Varka finally steps into battle, joined by Arlecchino and The Marionette. Their uneasy truce sets the tone for one of the most intense chapters yet.

Meanwhile, under the guidance of The Damselette, Nefer, the mysterious head of the Curatorium of Secrets, plays a key role in uncovering Rerir’s obsessions and the truth behind the Solnari’s revenge. The quest promises cinematic fights, deep moral turns, and of course, exactly 560 Primogems as a completion reward.

Nefer: 5-Star Dendro Catalyst
The highlight of this update has to be Nefer, a 5-star Dendro Catalyst who brings the brand-new Lunar-Bloom mechanic to the battlefield. She manipulates Verdant Dew to power her Charged Attacks. These special attacks consume no Stamina and deal massive Lunar-Bloom damage. During her Ascendant Gleam state, she can even convert Dendro Cores into Seeds of Deceit, amplifying her attacks further.

Lore-wise, Nefer’s sharp intellect and eerie intuition make her as compelling as her combat style. As the leader of the Curatorium, she senses hidden motives in everyone, and players can trade the intel she collects for side stories and rewards at the Adventurers’ Guild.
Re-runs and Chronicled Wish
The first phase of the update features Nefer and Furina on the Event Wishes, followed by Arlecchino and Zhongli in the second half.
Events and Rewards
