• S Tier: The best characters in Stella Sora that are core members of the most meta rosters. They should be your highest priority when rerolling or summoning.
• A Tier: Very strong characters that have good DPS/utility and are the high-priority members of the meta team for that element.
• B Tier: Characters that aren’t as high a priority as the S/A-tier characters, but you’ll need them if you don’t have a 5-star that can fill their role.

The tier list above is our general ranking of all characters (Trekkers) in Stella Sora. Because mono-element teams are the best in Stella Sora, all characters are actually viable, even the worst 4-stars, if you don’t have a better one of that element for that spot. Also, the tier list above is not just a power ranking, but a priority list of which characters you should focus on. Short summaries of each character’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as best teams for them are in the section below.

S Tier – Best Characters in Stella Sora

Chitose	5-Star Aqua Vanguard Main DPS Single-Target AoE Chill Chitose is one of the best DPSs in Stella Sora and the best Vanguard for Aqua teams. She has excellent single-target DPS on her basic attacks and wide-AoE/high-DMG skills. Talent 01 and Talent 02 are the most important for Chitose, and will increase her DPS substantially with a fairly low total investment. Other Talents are good as well, though not as important. Gerie	5-Star Terra Vanguard Main DPS Single-Target AoE Gerie is the main DPS for the Terra element and one of the best AoE DPSs in Stella Sora. Plus, she doesn’t require any Talent upgrades to work extremely well. The Terra team as a whole is the best-performing team right now, and to complete it, you’ll need Gerie.	Ridge Nazuna
Nazuna	5-Star Terra Support AoE Healer Buffer Nazuna is the designated support for the Terra teams and the overall best healer in Stella Sora. Her support skill heals the main Trekker’s HP, while dealing AoE DMG and applying Terra Mark. Also, she provides extremely good ATK buffs that aren’t limited to the Terra element. She is simply awesome and by far the best support in the game.	Gerie Ridge
Minova	5-Star Lux Versatile Main DPS Sub DPS Single-Target AoE Minova is a main DPS/support for Lux teams and one of the, if not the best, single-target DPS in the game. Her support skill is good as well, making her a decent sub-DPS if you want to go with another Lux character as your main. Minova is also one of the best F2P characters to use, as she doesn’t need Talent upgrades to be OP.	TiliaShia
Chixia	5-Star Ignis Versatile Sub DPS AoE Buffer Chixia is one of the overall best buffers/sub-DPSs in Stella Sora, and all of her skills and summons hit like a truck, while also providing buffs for allies. One of her best traits is that she has too many good Potential cards, making almost any build you make extremely good. Also, her Talent upgrades will make her an even better support.	Amber Flora

Nanoha	5-Star Ventus Vanguard Main DPS Single-Target AoE Nanoha is the main DPS for Ventus teams and one of the overall best DPSs in the game, relying on her basic attacks to dish out sustained single-target/AoE damage. However, her biggest issue is that she is one of the squishiest Vanguards, making positioning and dodging extra important when using her.	Canace Ann
Shia	5-Star Lux Vanguard Main DPS Sub DPS Single-Target Shia is a main/sub-DPS for Lux teams, with extremely high single-target DPS, but fairly lackluster AoE. She is especially strong against bosses, and works well as a support to proc Lux Mark with Tilia as the main DPS. However, her main DPS potential is subpar compared to Minova.	Minova Tilia
Freesia	5-Star Aqua Versatile Sub DPS AoE Buffer Freesia is a sub-DPS/buffer for Aqua teams and one of the most reliable AoE DPSs overall. With proper Potentials picked out, the buffs she provides for the allies are extremely good, and she works especially well with Chitose, who relies on her auto attacks for damage.	Chitose Teresa
Mistique	5-Star Umbra Versatile Sub DPS AoE Buffer Shield Debuffer Mistique is the best support/sub-DPS for Umbra teams, providing buffs, debuffs, and shields. Her overall kit is really good, and she has plenty of AoE damage and utility. However, Umbra teams are fairly weak at the moment, making her a low-priority 5-star character.	Coronis Cosette
Amber	4-Star Ignis Vanguard Main DPS Single-Target AoE Amber is the designated DPS for Ignis teams right now and one of the best 4-star DPSs in general. She has a versatile kit with both AoE and single-target damage, as well as self-buffs. Her boss DPS is on par with some of the 5-stars, even. Plus, her Talent bonuses are OP, and relatively easy to unlock as she is a 4-star.	Chixia Flora
Tilia	4-Star Lux Support Main DPS AoE Buffer Tilia is the best support and also a main DPS (if you use Shia & Minova) for Lux teams, with plenty of ATK buffs for allies and very good AoE damage. She doesn’t need any Talent upgrades to be strong, making her very F2P-friendly. Also, her support skills’ buff applies to all allies, making he one of the few supports who perform well on non-mono element teams.	Minova Shia
Ridge	4-Star Terra Versatile AoE Buffer Debuffer DEF Reduce Ridge is the designated sub-DPS/support for Terra teams and one of the best debuffers in Stella Sora, with the ability to shred enemy DEF, making her OP against bosses. Plus, she provides pretty decent DPS buffs. She, together with Gerie and Nazuna, is by far the most well-rounded team in the game.	Gerie Nazuna
Ann	4-StarVentus Support AoE Buffer Projectile Block Ann is another universally good support, similar to Tilia, with insanely good ATK buffs for allies regardless of their element and the ability to block enemy projectiles. She can be good on almost any team, and her utility is second to none. Plus, her Talent buffs are awesome for a 4-star character.	Nanoha Canace
Flora	4-Star Ignis Support AoE Buffer Debuffer Healer Flora is one of the best DPS-focused supports in Stella Sora, with plenty of ATK and Crit Rate/Crit DMG buffs. Also, she has a lot of other utility, depending on which Potentials you go with, including lifesteal on crits and ATK debuffs. Her only downside is that, compared to Ann and Tilia, she isn’t that good outside of full Ignis team comps.	Amber Chixia
Teresa	4-Star Aqua Support AoE Buffer Shield Teresa is the main support for Aqua teams, buffing their attacks, DMG, and providing shields. She is especially strong with Chitose, who relies on auto attacks for damage. Both her sustain and DPS buffs are amazing, though she really only works on full Aqua teams.	Chitose Freesia
Jinglin	4-Star Lux Versatile Sub DPS AoE Buffer Jinglin is a sub-DPS/support for Lux teams, providing extra AoE damage and ATK buffs. She is also extremely good at applying Lux Mark, as her support skill triggers 16 times within 8s, inflicting the Lux Mark each time. She is awesome with Minova and doesn’t need much investment at all to work.	Minova Tilia
Cosette	4-Star Umbra Support AoE Buffer Debuffer Cosette is the designated support/buffer for Umbra teams, with massive ATK buffs for the main Trekker and decent AoE damage. Her downside is that she isn’t that good outside of full Umbra teams and that most of her Potentials are bad, making it difficult to create a really good build.	Coronis Mistique
Coronis	4-Star Umbra Versatile Main DPS AoE Dark Lock Coronis is the best DPS for Umbra teams right now and one of the best 4-star AoE DPSs in Stella Sora. Her kit is especially strong against weaker enemies, as her skill can proc Dark Lock, binding enemies in place. However, against bosses, she isn’t as OP.	Mistique Cosette
Canace	4-Star Ventus Versatile AoE Buffer Crowd Control Canace is a sub-DPS/support for Ventus teams, with excellent AoE damage, CC against strong enemies, buffs, and a bunch of other utility. She is one of the best 4-stars in the game, though she is really only good on full Ventus, as most of her buffs apply only to allies of the Ventus element.	Nanoha Ann

Iris	4-Star Aqua Versatile Sub DPS AoE Buffer Crowd Control Chill Iris is a sub-DPS/support for Aqua teams, with very good DPS buffs, especially with her Talent 1 bonus, CC, Chill stacking, and plenty of other buffs/utility in her kit. However, she can’t compare to Freesia, making her redundant when it comes to the late-game. Still, if you don’t have Freesia, use Iris, and you’ll find her very useful.	Chitose Teresa
Shimiao	4-Star Aqua Vanguard Main DPS AoE Chill Shimiao is the designated 4-star DPS for Aqua teams, and pretty decent if you don’t have Chitose yet. Her AoE damage is respectable, and she has utility in her kit, including Chill stacks when using her main skill. However, most other 4-star DPSs are better, and with Chitose in the game, she isn’t really much of a priority.	Freesia Teresa
Laru	4-Star Lux Vanguard Main DPS AoE Laru is one of the main DPSs you can use for the Lux teams, with solid AoE and single-target damage. However, she doesn’t provide as many team buffs as Minova, and her DPS is just worse than hers, making her a low-priority pick. Still, if you don’t have Minova, she will outperform most other 4-star main DPSs.	Jinglin Tilia
Noya	4-Star Ventus Vanguard Main DPS AoE Single-Target Noya is a single-target/AoE DPS for Ventus teams that relies on her auto attacks to deal damage. She has a lot of utility in her Potential cards, such as Resiliance DMG, extra dodges, etc., but none of it can make her as strong as the other 4-star main DPSs. Overall, she is just a bad replacement for Nanoha.	Canace Ann
Caramel	4-Star Umbra Vanguard Main DPS AoE Caramel is one of the weakest Vanguards in Stella Sora, with very low max HP, subpar DPS, and a generally underwhelming kit. She has plenty of AoE for dealing with mobs, but compared to other 4-star AoE specialists, she is simply bad. Coronis is a much better designated DPS for Umbra teams, so use her instead. Kasimira	4-Star Ignis Versatile Sub DPS AoE Buffer Slow Kasimira is a sub-DPS/support for Ignis teams, providing AoE damage, slows, buffs, and plenty of self-DMG increases. However, compared to Chixia, she is basically useless, and her buffs aren’t nearly as good as those of other 4-star supports. She is more of an AoE DPS, and an underwhelming one at that.	Amber Flora
