How to win Unfail Mode in PUBG Mobile

Unfail Mode has been a big hit in PUBG Mobile since it arrived in the app on September 26, 2025. Whether you want to become a bloodthirsty Predator or a determined Survivor, here is how to excel in this game mode.

Unfail Mode overview

So what even is Unfail Mode? Well, it’s one of the many random things in PUBG Mobile that’s not a battle royale! It’s not as cursed as some of it, however.

In Unfail Mode, there’s one Predator and then four Survivors. The Predator is fast, strong, and full of upgrades that let it track down the four Survivors before they can reach freedom.

In order for Survivors to get away, they have to activate five terminals (if this sounds familiar, it’s because it’s a rip-off of the generators you gotta start in Dead By Daylight). Once the five terminals are powered up, you can escape through a gate.

However, the Predator will be hunting the Survivors down. Let’s dive deeper into how the Predator can kill everyone before they escape.

Predator guide in Unfail Mode

Predators will be equipped with tons of awesome abilities. You’re just one person after all, so you get some cool stuff to help. You will accumulate rage by attacking or knocking down Survivors, allowing you to level up these abilities.

  • Hook – Hook a Survivor and pull them towards you
  • Slow Trap – An invisible trap that will explode upon contact and slow down Survivors in range
  • Invisibility – Temporarily become invisible and silent

Need some extra help tracking down the Survivors? Wounded Survivors leave footprints that you can follow and Survivors that activate a terminal will be exposed briefly; but keep an eye on the environment, since there could be objects nearby that make it tougher to keep tracking your victims.

Predators at Level 1 and 2 can pick up downed Survivors to quickly execute them. Once you reach Level 3, you can execute Survivors instantly.

Survivor guide in Unfail Mode

There will be four Survivors, all hoping to avoid the Predator and get away. You will be able to start with one random survival item:

  • Jet Gauntlets: Speed boost after vaulting up windows or flipping boards
  • AED Anti-Radiation: Restore your health fully on rescue, faster carry speed too
  • Wrench: Activate terminals faster

On top of this, Survivors can have heart rate monitors; these will spike if the Predator is nearby, letting you know they are coming.

There are some things you can do to the environment that will slow the Predator down:

  • Flip Board – Stun the Predator with planks in the way
  • Hide – You can hide in distribution boxes and make a brief escape if the Predator doesn’t know where you are
  • Firearms – Firearms randomly spawn, which can stun the Predator
  • Consumables – Keep an eye on consumables to restore health, but you’ll still leave footprints

How to win Unfail Mode in PUBG Mobile

If you are a Survivor, you can only win if three or more of your team survives. This means you need to work together to keep the team going.

If only two Survivors escape, it’s a draw. And if only one escapes, you lose.

This means the Predator has to kill at least two Survivors to win. Or at least slow down the team’s efforts.
