This doubt sends him on the run and opens the door to a much larger mystery. As Wade travels between the past and present of four lost continents, he encounters people from different cultures, time periods, and family lines. Allies are not simply companions for battle; they are part of a legacy that connects earlier generations to the future they helped shape.At its core, Eternal Anima explores inheritance in several forms. The past does not remain fixed in a history book—it survives through memories, people, abilities, and unresolved consequences. Wade possesses Psychometry, a special power that allows him to read memories hidden inside objects. By uncovering the experiences of people who lived long before him, he can inherit lost Abilities and Classes for combat. This gives the player more freedom to experiment with party roles and build approaches suited to different enemies and situations.The game’s battle system is based on classic turn-based combat, but its defining mechanic is called Future Sight. Before choosing an action, players can see when enemies are expected to act and what the outcome of each turn may be. A dangerous strike can be guarded against, delayed, or stopped before it is executed.
