Arcane: the League of Legends series is releasing on Netflix on November 6th

Players capture land and raise armies to control the One Ring in The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War, a geo-strategic seasonal wargame. Armies must be raised, territories must be conquered, and defenses must be strengthened to outrank others. As the campaign progresses, players can level up their power ring to gain access to new abilities. They must work together with their allies to defeat their enemies because the game is multiplayer. If you’re new to this game, here is our Lord of the Rings: Rise to war beginners guide and tips that will come in handy as you progress through the game.

Netflix has announced its upcoming animated series Arcane, based on the League of Legends which will be premiered on 6th November 2021. The show will be set in Runeterra where the prosperous city of Piltover exists beside the more impoverished underground city of Zuan, known as the “City of progress” in Runterra. The story further follows the origins of Jinx and Vi, the two League champions, and “The Power that will tear them apart”.

Arcane series will look at the world behind League of Legends

The Arcane series coming on Netflix is based on the world behind League of Legends where it dives into the thin and delicate balance between the seedy underbelly of Zaun and the rich city of Piltover. Most of the brilliant minds call these cities home. But the creation of Hextech, a way for any person to control magical energy, threatens that balance.

The star-studded cast includes Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Katie Leung (Caitlyn), Ella Purnell (Jinx), Kevin Alejandro (Jayce), and many more. As we can see in the trailer, Arcane’s first season will include nine episodes released weekly in groups of three. The show is all set to premiere on Netflix, shortly after the League of Legends Worlds Finals end. The first three episodes are expected to focus on sisters Jinx and Vi’s early relationship after which the series turns explosive as it progresses. The second three episodes will launch on November 13th and the final three episodes on November 20th, 2021.

Players all over the world love League and its universe. Their passion is what inspires us to create expressions of Runeterra worthy of their fandom. The launch of Arcane is the beginning of the next chapter for Riot and we can’t wait for players to see what we have in store for them across games, entertainment, and sports

NICOLO LAURENT, CEO, RIOT GAMES

While Arcane holds the backstories of League of Legends champions, the series is designed to stand on its own as a complex and interesting world filled with moral decisions and choices, suspenseful storytelling, and breathtaking animation.
