FC 26 Beta Early Access, Dates, Tricks, and Secret Unlock Mode

FC 26 Closed Beta has finally been released and provides a limited taste for players prior to the ultimate launch. At first, it’s an invite-only mode where qualified players test new gameplay, get educated about new game modes, and provide feedback, narrowing down the finished product. But it’s confined in accessibility—invited players in select areas can take part singly. For competitive players and FUT veterans, Beta can be a beneficial head start.

Who can become an FC 26 Beta tester?

FC 26 Closed Beta begins August 6 through August 26, 2025. Beta for the 2-player Nintendo Switch offering goes live a few days after that—August 8. It is a closed beta for invited players, at least for the near future for 18+ players in the United States and the United Kingdom.

If you play FC 25—particularly competitive game modes like Ultimate Team, Division Rivals, or Weekend League—you’ll be more likely to be picked. EA prefers players who are:

  • EA marketing emails subscriber
  • Chose EA Sports FC as their game of choice
  • Registered in EA Playtesting

If you pre-qualify, be sure to check your mailbox at some point within the beta launch window.

How to Unlock All Beta Game Modes

Members who have reached the status of Beta player will allegedly only receive one type of game play mode, i.e., Career or Clubs. There has been a discovered workaround by the community, however, which allegedly unlocks all game modes of the game, including Ultimate Team, at an early time.

Here’s the principle behind the trick:

  1. Open Beta and enter a locked state (e.g., FUT).

2.Turn off your internet using your console settings or your router.

  1. Wait 5–10 seconds, then
  2. Back to game — disabled previously game modes can be activated now.

It is not a promise but some swear it does, more specifically for Premium Beta Pass owners. EA may alter it at any moment, so use it at your discretion wisely.

Rules, regulations, and Do’s and Don’t’s

The Beta is accompanied by a strict NDA (non-disclosure agreement). Players cannot:

  • Stream gameplay
  • Screenshots or video recording
  • discuss publicly unpublished material

Violating these rules can get you immediately terminated from the Beta or even banned from all future testing permanently. Moreover, rewards or progress made in the Beta will not be transferred when the game reaches full release.
