The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin’s March launch trailer is here

After what has felt like a long road to release, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is finally making its March launch window feel tangible. Netmarble has debuted a new launch trailer for its upcoming open-world RPG, offering the clearest look yet at the game’s ambitious crossover premise.

The footage highlights the game’s “multiverse” angle, bringing together Meliodas, Tristan, Diane, and other familiar faces from across different timelines into a single version of Britannia. This convergence sets the stage for a significantly larger scale than previous anime adaptations. The trailer showcases how this narrative mix fuels the tag-based combat, allowing players to swap characters mid-battle and build teams around combo skills rather than a single hero.

Exploration appears to be just as critical as combat. The trailer emphasizes roaming a vast open map, with multiplayer elements—such as co-op boss encounters and party exploration—taking center stage alongside the single-player journey.

For long-time followers of the franchise, the trailer leans heavily into familiar territory: massive cinematic clashes, flashy ability chains, and that signature over-the-top anime energy. Whether this spectacle translates into long-term gameplay depth, however, is a question that won’t be answered until players get hands-on with the final build.

That wait is nearly over. Early access kicks off on PlayStation 5 and Steam on March 16th, followed by the full global launch on iOS and Android on March 23rd. Pre-registration is still open for those planning to jump in from day one.
