Tower of Fantasy has just announced an upcoming new update, Version 3.2 called Joltville which is set to be released on September 5th, 2023. The new update will feature a brand new sub-region to explore that is within Domain 9 called Joltville along with a new mission, new Simulacrums, and re-runs on the way.
Tower of Fantasy Version 3.2 will feature a new map expansion “Joltville” along with New Story Missions
Joltville will be the new region in the Tower of Fantasy Version 3.2 update where players are able to explore for the new patch update. Joltville, a town hidden within the mountains, is a natural habitat teeming with exotic and rare creatures.
It also has the busiest trading hub, where the Qinglong’s Might converges. Enveloped in a veil of ethereal fog, Joltville is still the administrative center of Domain 9, even boasting the most expansive trading hub. However, constant threats like field energy depletion and the Darkness invasion are becoming more serious.
Wanderers can show up on the new map region after going up to the Great Wall. In this new region, there will be a different type of field energy called Field Energy (Azure). This will be used in order to upgrade the Statues in Joltville. So if you already maxed out your Statues in Ignisville then there is really no need to gather the Purple Field energies over there anymore.
Similar to other previous regions, Wanderers can collect Blue Field energies through exploration of the overworld. You can also get them from opening Tai Chi chests which can now be opened with multiple Signet chips in this update. There is also the Joltville Bazaar which is located near Joltville Mansion. The area has various amounts of shops that sell a wide variety of items, some of the sold items are useful so make you get them as quickly as possible.
The currency used in the Bazaar is a unique kind of currency called Dominium. This is the currency that will enable you to buy or sell items. In order to get this currency, players will have to do side quests and store order bulletins where you can take up some of the Store owner’s orders and trade items with them. There is also a new feature where you can catch different kinds of Beast and sell them to the Beast caretaker at the Bazaar.
Boundless Realm for Sequential Phantasm
Will be unlocked when players reach 3500 points in all of the games that have been played in normal mode. Once a boundless realm opens up for a particular Element, you won’t have access to that Element’s normal mode again. After clearing the 3rd Level in all 4 Elements Boundless Realm Mode you will unlock the Altered Element.
Level rewards will be granted when specific levels in Boundless Real, Mode are cleared. All levels and rewards in Boundless Realm Mode will not be reset and can only be claimed once. Additionally, there is the Frontier Clash Evolution. All of your Weapons will be automatically advanced to Max Stars, plus all of your matrices will have an additional one star. Bosses will also change per cycle.
New Simulacrums, Mimi and Fei Se is set to make a debut with the new Version 3.2 update
1. Mimi

Summary of her Kit
Mimi is a Volt Defense Simulacrum and wields the weapon Meng Zhang. She can utilize the Volt effects and Resonance. When fully charged, her attacks paralyze and electrify enemies, negating buffs and dealing damage. Equipping multiple Volt weapons boosts her Volt ATK and Resistance. Her main skill, Terrifying Moon, summons the Azure Dragon to deal AoE damage and lightning strikes, with a passive effect damaging enemies over time.
Discharge provides damage immunity and high damage, while her normal attacks offer combos both on the ground and in the air. Thunderblast deals continuous lightning damage and shields allies, enhancing with Spirit Power Resonance. Mimi gains Power of the Azure Dragon stacks for damage reduction, and her dodges trigger Phantasia or move her instantly for damage. Her kit offers a blend of crowd control, damage, and utility in the game.
Mimi (Matrix Set)
- 2-piece: Increase final damage by 10% / 12% / 14% / 16%. After a Little Green Dragon hits a target with an attack, increase skill damage by 30% for 30 seconds. This set effect works in the off-hand slot, only the set with the highest star rating will take effect.
- 4-piece: When equipped with at least a 1-volt weapon, increase all elemental damage by 28% / 32% / 36% / 40%, and after using any of Meng Zhang’s skills/discharge skills, increase crit damage by 20% for 30 seconds. This set effect works in the off-hand slot, only the set with the highest star rating will take effect.

2. Fei Se

Summary of her Kit
Fei Se is a Flame DPS Simulacrum and wields the weapon Heavy Pistil. Her charged attacks set targets ablaze for 8 seconds, causing ongoing damage. Equipping multiple Flame weapons enhances her Flame ATK and Resistance. Her weapon skill, Explosive Flame – Quick Cut, deals escalating damage over time, with its base damage enhanced by non-Flame weapons.
She wields an array of normal attacks such as Open and Close, Slender Clouds, Autumn Wind and Dew, Jingling Ring, Flying Lotus Steps, and Falling Flowers. Fei Se’s dodges trigger Phantasia and unique attacks like Scattering Flowers, which create Colorful Illusions and Lotus Petals. Her skill Soaring deals massive damage and creates a Mirage, enabling Frightened Swan upon Mirage’s duration, while Frightened Swan removes illusions for substantial damage and shatters the Mirage. Her Discharge, Unparalleled Beauty, provides damage immunity upon activation.
Fei Se (Matrix Set)
- 2-piece: After using any flame weapon skill or discharge skill, increase all ATK by 18% / 22% / 26% / 30% for 30 seconds. This set effect works in the off-hand slot, only the set with the highest star rating will take effect.
- 4-piece: When equipped with at least 1 flame weapon, increase all elemental damage by 28% / 32% / 36% / 40%. When generating a Colorful Illusion, increase the final damage by an additional 20% for 25 seconds. This set effect works in the off-hand slot, only the set with the highest star rating will take effect.
Small QOL Adjustments
The new patch will add an additional of fourth and fifth Relic slots which can easily let you switch out different relics and save exploration time. Additionally, in the story slot, there is a rare stat storage for all Simulacrums. In order to unlock a slot, Wanderers need to buy an item called Equipment Amplifier using Dark Crystals. Once you use the item to unlock a slot, the rare stat that’s equipped to your gear will automatically save on the storage.
