A massive surprise just shook up the Wuthering Waves community! Even with Version 3.4 "The Dream Not Dreamed" and the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collab in full swing, Kuro Games dropped a stunning reveal trailer teasing Version 3.5. The sneak peek features incredible looks at new Resonators, upcoming storylines, and a fresh outfit showcase that has players completely hyped.

New five-star resonators coming with Wuthering Waves 3.5
The teaser video offered a sneak peek at upcoming resonators and outfits. Beyond the official announcements, leaks suggest more resonators will debut between the 3.5 and 3.7 updates. Additionally, version 3.5 is set to introduce a brand-new area named Mengzhou, located within the Huanglong region. A return to this territory was widely anticipated following the extensive storylines across Lahai-Roi.
The next wave of resonators will be based on the new region. The upcoming resonators should be:
- Version 3.5: Yangyang: Xuanling (5★), Suisui (5★)
- Version 3.6: Qingxiao, Jingran
- Version 3.7: Hsin and Suoming
The resonators will come into two phases in each update, following the usual cycle of Wuthering Waves. For 3.5, the resonators are expected to be Havoc Sword and Glacio Rectifier. And when will the 3.5 arrive? Well, it should be around 9th to 10th July, 2026. It will stay till August, 2026.
Featured Resonators
For version 3.5, the featured resonators are Yangyang: Xuanling, and Suisui. Here’s a brief on them:
Yangyang: Xuanling
She was a four-star, now getting a five in the update. From her character design to the outfits, I spotted mixed reactions, like she’s being considered as a sister of Yangyang. She will run along with the main story, with Sword and Havoc as her “maybe” main. She’s perfect in DPS.

Suisui
Suisui is going to be a brand-new Glacio Rectifier. And, she’s rumored to be a sister of Xuanling. Her tacet mark appears on her forehead, with hairs failed to cover it, making her more stunning. She will arrive in the second phase of version 3.5. Her appearance, though, didn’t reveal much, but leakers say that she will be a sub-DPS, aka support in role.
Qingxiao and Jingran
Swordswoman with the main DPS role using the Aero element, the first resonator. On the other hand, Jingran will be a Fusion resonator and is rumored to be a Broadblade user.
Hsin
Hsin is a Sentinel resonator of Mengzho. She’s from the electro and fusion attribute. While some leaks mentioned her as a glacio, we will have to wait for confirmation. Her role is not revealed yet.
Suoming
Maybe one of the stunning resonators with her red outfit, like a fiery fighter appearing with a glimmer. She’ll be an echo-skill-based glacio support.
Jingran
Jingran is the only male character out of the six revealed for Huanglong. He is well build man who is shown equipping a spear and holding a lantern. Jingran is expected to be released in Wuthering Waves 3.6, featuring on the Wuthering Waves banners alongside Suoming.

- Azure Oath (5★): With ATK 588 and a 24.3% Crit Rate, its passive effect grants 12% All-Attribute DMG Bonus.
- Firstlight’s Herald (5★): At level 90, this one will have 413 base ATK, and energy regen 77.04% for the second stat.

The new story will unfold with a deeper dive into Yangyang’s backstory. The duo will search for their roots, and as much as we are excited, I’m sure they’ll be too to find out what made them end up in the Huanglong. And, as we said, the 3.6 will feature a male resonator after quite some time. Though fans like to play girls, the upcoming should keep a balance, not by only farming aura, but rather actual usefulness, or maybe more in-game.
So, we are going to see a packed update in each of the upcoming versions. You will feel more like an inside man rather than a player of this game; that’s how much effort it takes. But showing this much may not also carry the hype. But today, Wuthering Waves made a wave strong enough to create some noise, that’s for sure.
