How to Fix Hyper-V Conflict with MEmu

How to Fix Hyper-V Conflict with MEmu

If MEmu doesn’t run properly, it’s usually caused by a conflict with Hyper-V. Here are the standard fixes:

Disable Hyper-V (Recommended)

  1. Press Win + R, type optionalfeatures, and press Enter
  2. Uncheck:
    • Hyper-V
    • Windows Hypervisor Platform
    • Virtual Machine Platform
  3. Click OK and restart your PC

Disable via Command Line

Run Command Prompt as Administrator:

bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off

Restart your PC.

Turn Off Memory Integrity

  1. Open Windows Security
  2. Go to Device Security → Core Isolation
  3. Turn off Memory Integrity
  4. Restart your PC

Use Hyper-V Mode (If Needed)

Some versions of MEmu support running with Hyper-V enabled:

  • Open MEmu settings
  • Enable Hyper-V mode (performance may be lower)

Note

Disabling Hyper-V may affect tools like Docker Desktop or Windows Subsystem for Android.
